FutureScape

FutureScape is a collection of highly imaginative buildings and structures in the Second Life platform. Emphasis is placed on architecture that is other-worldly. Fantasy, outer space living, and alien designs are given priority in the construction of the FutureScape line. A majority of the structures in this collection are made available for public observation and use in the Avatrian Central sim.

Examples of our creations in FutureScape:

  • Polyp Towers Two towers of organic coral-shaped building. The luminescent glow of its lights are best admired at night. Each tower has a base structure with usable space for events or exhibits.

  • The Minarets of Adun The Minarets of Adun is comprised of three towers which stand as citadels in the southeast corner of the Avatrian Central sim. Utilization of interiors is still under way. But, the circular minaret has a space-age, beam-me-up-Scottie theme.

  • Mothership Alpha The Mothership Alpha is a floating structure that hovers 125 meters above the Avatrian Central sim. Some would call it a flying saucer while others look at it as the beginnings of a city on air. The Mothership Alpha was constructed using only traditional Second Life building utilities. No rezzing tools were used. Its interior currently serve as a showroom for the Terrain Factory where ready-made, uploadable .raw terrain files are available.

  • Omicron Rocket Want to take a ride to the next galaxy? The Omicron Rocket is our spaceship of choice. It is structurally complete and soon to be scripted for full mobility.

  • RampArts Practice your mobility skills and hike all the way up to the peak of the RampArts. Beware of the moving tentacles in the base. But, the top offers the best panoramic view for the whole sim.

  • LookOut Peak Another example of our capabilities for creating large, non-geometric shaped structures.

  • Hegemon Prime The most highly utilized building in the whole sim is our headquarters and main office in Second Life. Comprised of only two levels, the main floor functions as a lobby and reception area. This is also where our completed projects are displayed. The second level is the boardroom where Avatrians meet to plan and discuss in-world activities. For easy exit, the walls of this level are scripted with petal-like opening features activated with a voice command.
