Just found out today that someone has recreated the Moroccan city of Casablanca in Second Life. I happened upon it through a view that a user requested using our new Peek360 app. See below…

The best part is that you can see the Hassan II Mosque prominent in the region. The textures are amazing and the Islamic arch details are very impressive. I visited the Hassan II Mosque almost 9 years ago. It just opened to the public then. And, it is one of the few mosques in the world where non-muslims are allowed to enter. Now, we don’t even have to go all the way to North Africa.
